About the Diabetes Society of Maldives

Founded in 1999, the Diabetes Society of Maldives (DSM) is the leading non-governmental organization in the Maldives focused exclusively on diabetes care, education, and advocacy. We operate a dedicated diabetes clinic in Malé, run nationwide screening programs, and support patients with insulin pump therapy, nutrition counseling, and youth camps.

Our work spans over 200 islands, partnering with the Ministry of Health, the International Diabetes Federation, and the World Health Organization to build a healthier Maldives.
